Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, which truly enhanced our experience. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat. The dining options were diverse and delicious, especially the Italian restaurant. However, the high prices of wine during dinner were a bit off-putting.
I had an amazing experience at this hotel, as the location is breathtaking, right next to the beach and perfectly situated for relaxation. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable stay. The staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and attended to all our needs with a smile. While the dining options were varied and tasty, I found the vegetarian selections could use improvement. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, aside from a couple of minor issues with room amenities.
I chose this hotel to relax after a long journey and was absolutely delighted. The warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home, and the facilities were all well-maintained. However, the distance to the beach was a bit of a downside as it required a 200-meter walk. Overall, it offered great value for money with excellent dining options and beautiful pools.
I had a fantastic family holiday at Anantara Kalutara. The hotel offered comfortable and clean interconnecting rooms, which were perfect for my kids. The friendly staff made sure we were well taken care of, and the dining options, especially the buffet, were some of the best I've experienced. However, the beach wasn’t ideal for swimming due to rough surf, and it was a bit disappointing to find people smoking by the pool.
We had a great week at the resort, enjoying beautiful surroundings and excellent service at times. The accommodations were fantastic, and the pools offered a nice retreat, though the location is quite isolated with limited options outside the hotel. While we had a wonderful time, the early morning mosque calls and some service inconsistencies detracted from our experience.
